Stamp your first exhibit
The whole flow is three moves: drop a PDF, pick a letter, hit download. Everything runs in this browser tab — nothing uploads.
The 3-step flow
Placing the stamp
Use the 3×3 Stamp placement grid to choose any of nine positions — corners, edges, or center. The live preview shows exactly where the stamp lands on the page.
Color
Pick the sticker color — every option uses crisp black text on a black border. Or hit the rainbow swatch to dial in any custom color; the text auto-adjusts for contrast.
Free tier limits
Need more? Bulk & sequencing is a Pro feature — see the next section.
Stamp a whole binder at once
Drop in many PDFs, let them auto-letter in sequence, reorder as needed, and export — all locally.
The queue
Drop multiple PDFs (or use + Add PDFs) and each appears in the queue on the left. Every file is assigned the next label in sequence automatically.
- Start at A → files become A, B, C, … Z, AA, AB, …
- Start at 1 → files become 1, 2, 3, …
- The queue can be widened by dragging its right edge.
Reordering & re-lettering
Drag any queue item by its grip handle to reorder it. Labels re-sequence automatically to match the new order — slip a late exhibit into position 2 and everything downstream shifts in an instant.
Exporting
Browsers block firing many downloads at once. Bundling separate files into a single ZIP guarantees every stamped document comes through in one click.
Make the stamp yours
Tune the convention, typography, size, and caption. The preview is pixel-faithful to what lands on the PDF.
Exhibit type
Choose the convention with one tap: Standard, Plaintiff's, Defense, State's, Petitioner's, or Respondent's. This sets both the stamp's label and the downloaded filename prefix.
Name your own
Tap ✎ Name your own in the exhibit-type grid to type any label — e.g. "Joint Exhibit" or just "Exhibit." A live preview shows exactly how it reads, and the letter (A, B, …) always appends after your text.
Starting character & sequence
Type a letter (A) or a number (1) and the queue counts up automatically — A→B→C or 1→2→3 — shown in a live preview right beside the field.
Leave blank to write in by hand
Flip Leave blank — write in by hand and the letter is omitted entirely, leaving a clean write-in line on the sticker so you can fill it in with a pen. Filenames drop the letter too (e.g. "Exhibit — deposition.pdf").
Font
Three are one tap away — Print, Hand, Block — with More revealing the rest. Each chip previews itself in its own typeface.
Size
The Stamp size slider measures in real inches (default 1.5″ × 1″), with an in/cm toggle. What you set is the literal size embedded on the page.
Caption under the letter
A row of chips — with See more for the rest — sets the small line beneath the letter:
Tilt
Toggle Tilt stamp slightly for a hand-applied, slightly-rotated look. Off by default for a square, aligned stamp.
Paper texture
By default the sticker is printed on subtle paper stock — a fine grain and fiber mottle in the fill, like a real gummed label. Toggle Paper texture off for a perfectly flat fill. Either way, the downloaded PDF matches the preview exactly.
Your files never leave your device
Exhibit Stamper has no upload endpoint. Documents are read, stamped, and saved entirely within your browser.
How it works
When you drop a PDF, it's loaded into your browser's local memory and modified by JavaScript running on your own machine. The result is handed back to you as a download. Nothing is transmitted, because there is no server to transmit to.
